Summer Meltdown

If August turns out to be hotter than July here in the Heartland then I'm going to surely melt! I am ready for signs of fall and cooler temps.

A sure sign of fall is school starting. I have seen some really cute scrap things for school layouts. I've even been working on some school themed items. Hopefully school layouts will be in demand really soon.

Since my last post I have gotten some really big news...I'm going to be a Grandmother!!! I am so excited! My son and his wife live in Hawaii so just think what fun I'll have visiting there!! Baby is due March 2. So many blessings in my life :)

Weekend is coming up so I'd like to wish everyone a fun and safe time!

I know I'm a little early on my 4th of July wishes but I'll be out of town by the time the weekend gets here.

Playing Catch Up

Sorry that our little blog has been the victim of neglect lately. I think we all know how it is when some things get pushed to the back burner unintentionally.

Thanks to those of you who have continued to peek in on us here from time to time during our absence. Members of our team have been faced with some challenging times in the last few months. Some of us lost beloved family members or friends, we celebrated a marriage, and another moved across the country. Thru it all we have held each other close and I think things are now settling down for all of our designers. As always we remain committed to offering our customers creative and high quality scrapbook pages and other treasures.

Blog candy is always fun so we will try to get another one up very soon.

Please pass the word to your friends about our blog. It is always nice to see our follower list grow.

Hope you all have a safe Halloween! I'm wishing you good treats and no tricks! The weather here has been cooler and rainy so some of the little "goblins" in my area may get a little damp.

Our new blog candy will be going up TODAY! I'm sorry for not getting the blog candy posted sooner. Life just got in the way of me getting it together. Hope everyone has enjoyed a safe and fun Labor Day Weekend!

We all know with the passing of Labor Day fall will be just around the corner. This is my favorite time of year. I am looking forward to those crisp, cool days and evenings. I'm ready to light a fire in the old fire pit and sit around just enjoying life.

All the vibrant colors of fall also make me really excited to see what our great group of designers will be creating. From layouts to cards to paper piecings, you are sure to find something cute and colorful and unique to meet your need. Keep a close check on all the ladies of ITPC have to offer!

Good morning! This is the beginning of a busy week for me. Had a call from my Mother yesterday and she told me they were coming for a visit...yippee :) I'm very excited for my parents to be coming (Saturday) but this means I have a lot to do this week to get ready.

The end of this week will be the drawing for our blog candy! How fun!! Jill did such a nice job of putting this together. Wonder who the lucky winner will be?? Get your entries in this week while you can.

I've been having a little problem signing onto eBay since yesterday. Can't get it to work. Haven't been able to this morning either. Don't know if the problem is with them or me but I think it is them since I can go to any other site.

Well ladies here it is August already! Not long til the school bells will be ringing. That may mean a little more scrap time for some :)

I'm still working on getting together some excess scrap supplies to auction in lots. It is just so hard to part with anything!

For next weeks auction I have come up with this " SEW PERFECT" acrylic scrap page. I antiqued the edges so that it would pop of a page. My favorite part of this page is the charms and the thread and needles. I can just imagine the timeless photo that will be placed on this page. Learning how to sew or a picture of a grandmother teaching her granddaughter how to sew. I know I went a little Prima crazy, but I could not help myself. I just love those Primas!
